Speaking engagements and presentations
An immersive experience of The Table Talk Project for Organisations and Community Groups
Duration: 2 Hours
Room set up:
- Tables of 10 (Depending on size of group)
- Neil Speaking from the front with a projector/TV screen to show the website
- Organisation to provide food and drink (no alcohol)
What’s the presentation format?
- Once People are seated Neil is introduced
- Neil then explains a bit about The Table Talk Project eg. History, Neil’s Story, Research etc and finish with and “now I want to teach you how to use this tool”
- Then invite them to go and get their food and sit back at the table
- Neil Would then walk them through how to use the Table Talk Project Tool
- Then they would do each stage of the Menu using their phones eg Entree (Food they have at the table), Main (Conversation Starter), Dessert (Check in)
- Neil then takes your people through the other features and supports of the website
How does Neil engage with those participating?
The presentation is interactive and engaging. Neil asks questions to find out their engagement with using the Tool and invites people to share their Table Talk experiences.
What’s the purpose of making the presentation Interactive?
We have found that talking about The Table Talk Project is great and people get excited but when they see it, feel it and use it they are way more engaged. Also having food (Entree) is a critical part of the immersive experience as it symbolises an at-home dinner time experience.
